The Core Collection. This is a family of cups, plates and bowls intended for everyday use. These pieces create a solid foundation that will work effortlessly with the tableware that is already on your shelves. Mix this collection with vintage finds or Grandma’s wedding china to create your own personal aesthetic. These hard-wearing pots are made to be used and enjoyed every day. The glazes are food safe, and most do just fine in the dishwasher or microwave. 

 

Every piece of the Core collection is individually formed and glazed by hand in the fdp  studio, so there are variations in size, shape and glaze that are not found in mass produced tableware. This variability is integral to the beauty of handmade ceramics.

 

Most of the Core Collection is made to order, though some pieces are in stock and ready to ship. 

 

Small-Batch Pottery Collection. These are the pots that I make when the creative juices are really flowing. Playing with clay makes me happy, and I think these small-batch pots reflect that joy.

 

Each piece of small-batch pottery is unique, and there are always new pieces in the works.  So if a Small-Batch mug or vase or lamp that you love is gone, stop back soon...the next  batch may include something that you like just as much! Bespoke Pottery. I am currently not accepting commissions or bespoke pottery orders.  That said, previous custom pottery requests have inspired some of my favorite pieces, so I do welcome your ideas.
